This is a vintage handmade Persian Baluch accent rug. Hand-knotted by Baluchi weavers, this rug has an allover intricate geometric, tribal design with a repeating interlocking diamond pattern. This rug also has a detailed border with multiple rows of wave-like motifs in midnight blue and red with chocolate, white, emerald green and bright orange tiny pops of color. Copper, red, midnight blue and white create the rug's main diamond pattern. All colors are made from only natural, vegetable dyes. This rug has a lightly distressed border (see last photo), with small wayward woolen tufts, though the border and fringe are completely intact. It's a charming reminder of the rug's one of a kind handmade nature, and it makes for a great bargain price, too!
