This handmade vintage Persian Baluch has a geometric allover design and is in mint condition except for a small almost unnoticeable area of distress (see last photo).  This is a high quality rug, hand-knotted with lambswool that gives it a soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The overall pattern is a leaf or snowflake-like motif alternating between rust and olive green on a camel colored background. If you look closely at the borders, you can see pops of heather green, walnut and lavender that add a surprise element of color. A deep cherry red ribbon of border helps frame the rug and black accents punctuate the colors throughout, all of which are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. This piece, while vintage, has a very modern and contemporary feel and will make an elegant addition to any style home.  There is one small area of slight color running in one section of the border, which makes this rug a great bargain!  Size: 2'11"x5'
