This is a brand new fine quality handmade tribal and geometric Persian Baluch accent rug or small runner.  This rug is made with fine, soft wool that can withstand high traffic and will last generations and a high knot count for fine, precise details.  The series of diamond central medallions is the focal point of the rug, creating a rustic yet contemporary design hand-knotted on a cherry red backdrop in black and white.  As you look closer, the pops of accent colors emerge: orange, hunter green, olive green, peach and walnut.  The colorful small tribal motifs provide playful design elements, from flowers to skirted human figures and whimsical animals. The intricate geometric border is another special design feature of the rug, with four rows of detailed repeating wave-like motifs in rows of white and red with green and black accents.  The bright white elements lighten the rug throughout.  All of the colors are are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.
