Hand-knotted by Baluchi weavers in Northwest Afghanistan, this rug has a tribal allover geometric design with motifs known as "guls", often representing nature such as lakes or mountains. This rug also has a charming tribal floret border. Copper, candy apple red, walnut and white create the beautiful pattern on a black background. All colors are made from only natural, vegetable dyes. This rug also has abrash, the natural variation in dyes that only occurs in handmade vegetable dye rugs. 100% lambswool, this rug has a soft full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.
