Brand new fine quality handmade tribal and geometric Persian Baluch accent rug.  This rug is made with fine, soft wool that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Rows of tribal and geometric repeating motifs are hand-knotted in warm and rustic shades of brown and burgundy with red and black curved lines separating the rows. The geometric motifs are known as "guls" which usually represent natural elements such as lakes and mountains. They are hand-knotted in ivory with red and burgundy and black tribal details.  This rug also has a stunning thick border, with detailed fine geometric shapes in the same color palette, adding small pops of unexpected lime green.  All of the colors are are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. Note that this rug has abrash, or the natural variation in color that occurs in handmade vintage rugs made with vegetable dyes.
