This is a fine quality brand new handmade Persian Baluch accent rug. It was handmade by Baluchi tribal weavers using fine soft wool that creates a sturdy pile, can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The tribal and geometric design is known as "elephant foot", a hallmark of rugs from this region.  The elegant champagne color is a neutral backdrop for the bold geometric medallions in cherry red, royal blue, copper, burgundy and white.  Note the intricate geometric details inside the elephant's feet and surrounding them. The borders have their own repeating small wave-like motifs in rows of red and white with royal blue and copper accents. All colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.
