An ivory thin outline separates the medallion from the cherry red open field, full of small hand-knotted flowers, sprays and bouquets in all of the amazing colors of the medallion and adding new ones such as charcoal, silver, teal and purple.  The ivory corners are filled with tribal colorful petals and flowers that really pop against the light backdrop.  The midnight blue border, resplendent with its own larger colorful geometric floral and vine pattern, provides the perfect frame for this statement piece.   This rug can withstand high traffic with its notably thick, sturdy, soft and dense village weave.
