This brand new handmade extremely high quality "four seasons" rug was handmade in Pakistan by master weavers trained in traditional  Persian rug design and is also referred to as a "Persian Pak" rug.  Hand-knotted with fine quality wool and a high knot count (knots per square inch, KPSI), this rug looks almost as if the patterns have been drawn on, the details are so crisp and fine. Each diamond-like geometric shape is woven with finely detailed exquisite floral and vine motifs representing each of the four seasons. This rug is unique because four seasons designs are usually Persian rugs woven in tribal, village areas, and they do not often have these more finely detailed designs and textiles.  The color way is also exquisite and hard to find. It is soft and neutral with an autumnal feel.  Peach, dusty rose, silvery sky blue, lavender, pale yellow,moss, sage, heather green, burnt orange, coral, burgundy and countless other colors harmonize in this very special rug.
