Handmade brand new Pakistani Four Seasons design oriental rug with floral and tree motifs.  High quality rug made with fine wool and excellent craftsmanship with a sturdy full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  This rug also has a high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch), which makes for very fine detail.  The Four Seasons design is an antique Persian  checkerboard pattern in which each square represents one of the four seasons.  In this contemporary version, the squares resemble windows to the garden, with views of the changing seasons through the trees, fruit, flowers and even birds.  The amazing array of rich colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  The burgundy/sangria background is a beautiful setting for the colorful accents and images in emerald green, gold, azure blue, sapphire, pink, copper, ivory, hunter green, burnt orange and countless other colors.  The tree and flower border is elegantly arranged and allows for more of the beautiful background color to show.  An added charming feature is the unique fringe, in which the different colors of thread are knotted around the fringes for playful pops of color to the very end!  Size: 5'3"x6'7"
