This brand new bright and cheerful fine quality runner was handmade in India. It has a full soft and thick pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here, a series of seven octagonal medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in alternating shades of ivory and yellow, with charming flower and star motifs in sea green, peach, navy blue, orange coral and silver, all made from only natural dyes.  The backdrop is a vibrant orange with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors. The border is an ivory frame with a geometric  repeat in all of the rug's beautiful soft colors.  The binding is a playful and decorative element of the rug, with navy blue and orange alternating rectangles against the orange and silver edge of the border.  This versatile size and cheerful color palette makes the rug perfect for entries and kitchens, mud rooms and kids' rooms, hallways, bedsides, etc.  Size: 2'9"x8'2"
