This contemporary tribal rug was handmade in India. It's a modern rug whose design is based on classic oriental rugs with geometric, nomadic designs and bold medallions.  This rug has a soft, thick pile that is great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The rug has rich colors made from only natural dyes. The large central medallion is the focal point of the rug in white and crimson and cobalt blue, with steel blue, grass green, ballet slipper pink, pale gold and heather gray accents.  Small tribal motifs adorn every layer of the medallion and the backdrop, from stars to hearts, ram's horns and trees.  The border is a decorative feature of the rug's design with repeating small geometric ram's horn motifs in all of the rug's colors and several playful rows of polka dots and other geometric repeating small designs. Note that even the rug's binding is hand-knotted alternating cobalt blue and crimson red sections.  This rug will add color and warmth to any space.  Size: 5'4"x7'8"
