It will last generations! The contemporary design consists of a central square checkerboard with a leaf or flower in each quadrant. They are hand-knotted in camel on a sand colored background, framed with two silver squares. The leaves and flowers have a modern impressionistic appeal, as if they are hand drawn. This charming and versatile piece has a natural olive green border, as if it might be a vine or leaves that frame the rug. The rug's background also has tiny accents floating throughout, perhaps meant to be evocative of leaves falling. All colors are made with only vegetable and other natural dyes.
