This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and quality wool.  The modern allover geometric design is derived from antique Persian Viss rug designs that date back centuries.  The series of silver medallions that run down the center of the runner have intricate adornments and small tribal motifs within and surrounding them in white, charcoal, black and burnt orange. The burnt orange backdrop is a rustic and harmonious contrast to the lighter shades of silver and gray. The border is a an elegant complement, a repeating tribal flower motif in the same colors, framed by thin charcoal and silver lines.  Colors are made from only natural dyes.
