This brand new fine quality accent rug was handmade in India in a Persian Nain design.  Master weavers trained in traditional rug design and technique hand-knotted this rug with silk and fine wool with a high knot count (KPSI, knots per square inch) which makes for precise, crisp details. The rug has an exquisitely detailed perfectly symmetrical floral and vine medallion pattern of sprays and bouquets, petals, leaves and vines revolving around a beautiful central medallion.  The silk accents glisten in the light. The rug is an elegant, lush midnight blue and the medallion and all of the surrounding designs are hand-knotted in silver, steel blue, hunter green, cranberry, ivory, taupe, mauve, dusty rose, charcoal, silver and countless other elegant neutral shades, all punctuated by bright white and all made from only natural dyes. The border is the perfect complement, an ivory frame with a garland of floral and vine motifs in the same accent colors.  This rug has a sturdy, soft and thick pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.
