This is a brand new fine quality area rug handmade in India with expert craftsmanship and fine quality wool.  The allover floral design is inspired by antique oriental rug patterns, and the weave creates a wonderfully thick, sturdy and soft pile that you can sink your feet into. The rug is a beautiful harmony in green and red with neutral accents, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  It has a very subtle, autumnal feel.  The background is a unique, stunning and elusive shade of green, closest to an olive green pewter.  The flowers and vines that create an elegant allover pattern are hand-knotted in sage, moss, hunter green and taupe with pops of cranberry that add the perfect touch of color.  The details and shading on each petal and leaf are phenomenal.
