The colors of this rug are truly spectacular and hard to find.  The background is magenta and the border is teal.  The flowers and vines that rest on magenta are hand-knotted in a stunning array of soothing colors that become more apparent as you get closer, and they come to life in the light:  peach, mint green, taupe, pale yellow, turquoise, taupe, ivory, silver, almond, navy blue, sea blue, camel and countless others, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. The flowers are intricate and abundant, complemented by the beautiful teal border, with its own floral and vine design in the same striking colors.  The border is framed on either side by four thin rows of charming small flowers and leaves on taupe and ivory ribbons.
