It was handmade by expert weavers in India.  The fine quality wool creates a full, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  The classic geometric medallion design with an open field is based on antique Persian Heriz Serapi patterns that date back over a century.  The prominent central medallion is the floral heart of the rug, starting with a khaki, heather gray, cornflower blue, raspberry and fern green center surrounded by a layer of heather gray petals with small tribal motifs of flowers and leaves in all of the colors mentioned above. The main color of the rug is this exquisite shade of pink closest to raspberry sorbet, which hosts delicate and elegant geometric and tribal flower and leaf designs in all of the wonderful accent colors of the rug.  The corners echo the central medallion, with cornflower blue as the prominent color, with designs in khaki, gray and raspberry, leading to the final border, a white frame with its own larger format tribal floral and vine motif in the same colors of the rug, all made of natural dyes.  This rug is a knockout and a true statement piece.  Size: 8'8"x11'9"
