This striking vintage tribal Persian Serab runner was handmade with a geometric design, intricate details and vibrant colors.  The rug has a soft sturdy pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations.  A series of central medallions creates a focal point for the rug's design, strawberry red hexagons with intricate tribal motifs within and connected by rows of colorful chevrons in all of the rug's colors: orange, green, sapphire, red, midnight blue, sand and taupe.  Surrounding the medallions are concentric layers of sapphire blue, sand and taupe, separated by thin lines of orange, white and midnight blue.  Small charming tribal motifs dot the sapphire areas, leading the eye to the fantastic three layer border.  Red, white and blue rows frame the rug, each with a garland of tiny flowers on the vine.  This runner is bright and cheerful and full of details that will continue to appear the more you explore.  There are several areas of color running throughout the rug, primarily towards the ends.
