This is a fine quality vintage Persian Baluch accent rug with a colorful allover geometric design.   The rug is made by hand  by esxpert Baluch tribal weavers, with quality wool, excellent craftsmanship and colors made from only natural dyes.  The repeating tribal designs are intricate and the small pops of color appear as you get closer to the rug.  The allover pattern in cherry red, sand, midnight blue and black forms 5 alternating rows in the center of the rug.   The small red repeating medallions have charming orange, green and white small details at their centers.  The border is  significant decorative part of the rug, cherry red with repeating medallions and intricate motifs in midnight blue. The final frame is a white and black small wave repeat before the red edge. Great for high traffic, this rug will also last generations.  Note the slight color running in a few areas if the rug, not very noticeable unless you are up close.  See the last 2 photos for close-ups.  This adds to the one of a kind handmade nature of the vintage rug, and also makes it a great bargain.  Size: 3'7"x6'9"
