This handmade vintage tribal Four Seasons design Persian Bakhtiari has garden and bird motifs, a vibrant and rich color palette and charming details. This sturdy fine quality Bakhtiari has a thick and soft pile that is cushy underfoot, can withstand high traffic and will continue to last for generations. The Four Seasons design is a checkerboard pattern in which each square represents one of the four seasons.  In this rug, the diamond medallions resemble windows to the garden, with views of the changing seasons through the trees, animals and flowers.  The colors are made from only natural dyes and the bright shades of orange, royal blue, fruit punch pink, hunter green, royal blue and cherry red create a bright and cheerful pictorial rug with white accents that make the colors pop.  Trees, birds, flowers, and leaves are complemented by other geometric patterns that fill every corner of the rug. The border is a particularly decorative element of the rug, a string of hexagonal medallions with charming colorful birds in all of the rug's colors, framed by rows of charming small flowers against cherry red rows.  You can get lost in the details.
