This handmade vintage Persian Bakhtiari Four Seasons design rug with floral, bird, tree and garden motifs has a brilliant and rich color palette and charming details. This sturdy fine quality tribal rug has an even low pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last for generations. The Four Seasons design is a checkerboard pattern in which each square represents one of the four seasons.  In this rug, the diamond medallions resemble windows to the garden, with views of the changing seasons through the trees, animals and flowers.  The colors are made from only natural dyes and the bright shades of red, royal blue, plum, grass green, burnt orange, fruit punch pink, hunter green, copper, azure blue, peach and countless others create a bright and cheerful pictorial rug with white accents that make the colors pop.  Trees, birds, flowers, and leaves are complemented by other geometric patterns that fill every corner of the rug.
