This handmade vintage tribal Persian Bakhtiari Four Seasons design rug has bird, flower, tree and garden motifs with a rich color palette and charming details.  This sturdy rug has a full pile that can withstand high traffic and will continue to last for generations. The Four Seasons design is a checkerboard pattern in which each square represents one of the four seasons.  In this rug, the squares resemble windows to the garden, with views of the changing seasons through the trees, birds and flowers.  The colors are made from only natural dyes.  Bright cherry red, white, midnight blue and heather gray alternate as backdrops to the individual squares, each one's designs hand-knotted in bright blue, turquoise, copper, bright pink, grass green, orange, peach, coral and countless other colors.  Trees, exotic birds and flowers, leaves, paisleys and other geometric patterns are framed by a white border, which lightens and brightens the rug.  The border has a decorative tribal floral design in all of the rug's same colors.  You can get lost in the details!
