The tribal, geometric diamond design is a hallmark of kilim rugs.  This rug has a cheerful, modern appeal with its bright colors and playful patterns.   Red, turquoise, royal blue, grass green and golden yellow create a striking pattern of concentric stepped diamonds and triangles that runs down the center of the rug.  This column is flanked by thin rows of small stepped diamonds in colorful boxes in all of the rug's colors, adding lavender and white. This leads to the border with a bright turquoise and white wave design on either end, and a repeating ram's horn design along the sides.  Flat weave and thin pile, the hallmark of kilim rugs, the rug is practically reversible. It is fine quality and well-made, sturdy and great for high traffic areas. It will last generations.
