This handmade brand new Persian Tabriz is extremely fine quality, made  with high quality wool, natural dyes and exquisite craftsmanship.  It also has a very high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) for precise & crisp details. This classic Tabriz design has exquisite & intricate details that become more apparent as you get closer to the rug. They are hand-knotted in an elegant array of colors, with concentric borders leading to a central medallion.  Midnight is the color of the rug's border and  background, a perfect canvas for tiny repeating floral and vine and other delicate motifs. The rug's center and corners have a pale yellow background, and the prominent central layer and corners are best described as taupe.  The tiny motifs that fill the entire rug with color and pattern are hand-knotted in powder blue, olive green, lavender, steel blue, silver, lime green, burgundy, dusty rose, ivory, peach, burnt orange and countless others.   Note the delicate, scalloped edge, a necklace-like detailing that separates each section.
