This is a stunning top quality vintage Persian Mashad with a gorgeous floral medallion design and spectacular colors. This rug is made from fine quality wool which makes for a plush pile that can handle high traffic and will continue to last for generations.  The superior craftsmanship is evidenced by the fine details and high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch), the natural dyes and the fine wool.  The intricate floral and vine patterns elegantly and symmetrically fill the terra cotta/red coral open field with flowers and leaves hand-knotted in sapphire blue, pale mint green, indigo blue, dusty rose, mocha, pale gold, midnight blue and countless other shades that have the unique patina that only comes from vintage natural dyes. The central medallion contains all of the rug's colors, primarily pale mint green, sand and pale mocha, with sapphire, pink coral and dusty rose accents.
