This is a handmade brand new fine quality Pakistani tribal runner with a beautiful pastoral scene.  Made with fine wool and excellent craftsmanship, this rug has a sturdy full pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) makes for very fine details.  This pictorial rug is based on antique nomadic Persian Gabbeh rug designs. This modern version has sunlit houses, rolling hills, epic mountain ranges, beautiful trees and charming colorful animals grazing, galloping and playing in the fields.  The amazing array of rich colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  Details are finely knotted against the emerald, champagne, copper, burnt orange and burgundy hills and fields.  Animals, flowers and trees are hand-knotted in all of these colors, with the addition of camel, white, peach, denim and sky blue.  An added charming feature is the unique fringe, in which the different colors of thread are knotted around the fringes for playful pops of color to the very end!  Wonderful in any room and a great idea for kitchen, hallway, and children's rooms and nurseries.  NOTE: Matching pair rug available, as seen in above photos.  Size: 2'9"x8'4"
