It has a striking autumnal color palette made from only natural dyes and a very thick, full, soft pile that is cushy underfoot, great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here a series of three footed medallions run down the center of the rug, hand-knotted in gold, forest green, midnight blue, orange, yellow, silver, charcoal, mocha, khaki and other rustic colors.   The backdrop is hand-knotted in orange and red for a bright persimmon color that appears more red or orange depending on the angle.  Small playful tribal star and diamond motifs adorn the central medallions and dot the open field in the same style and colors. The border is a wonderful ivory frame that further lightens and brightens the rug. The border's repeating larger geometric designs complement the rug perfectly, and the ivory backdrop is framed by thin silver rows of small colorful tribal motifs.
