Hand-knotted by master weavers, this rug is made from the highest quality wool that comes from the softest parts of the lamb. The pile is as soft as velvet, thick and sturdy enough to withstand high traffic and last for generations.  It is handmade with superior craftsmanship and only natural dyes. The traditional floral and medallion design is exquisitely woven in intricate details by hand.  Deep ocean blue provides the lush backdrop for gorgeous accent colors of sapphire, white, mint green, teal green, turquoise, pale mauve, lavender, cornflower blue, tawny, pomegranate, aquamarine, powder blue and countless others, all punctuated by bright white for a stunning effect.  The circular flower medallion with layers of soft mint green petals is the focal point, radiating out in all of the above mentioned colors, picked up again in the matching corners. The blue open field is resplendent with swirling floral sprays and bouquets of flowers on the vine in perfect symmetry, with some elegant archaeological motifs.  The border complements the rug with the same beautiful colors and style, an ocean blue frame with a floral garland, itself framed by azure blue rows of smaller flowers on the vine.
