This is a brand new fine quality kilim accent rug handmade in Pakistan in muted pastel colors with a tribal, geometric allover diamond design.  This rug has a cheerful, modern appeal.  The backdrop is primarily shades of purple, from lilac to lavender to plum.  Denim blue, sky blue, azure blue, grape, heather gray, soft green, peach,  and ivory are among the colors that combine in a repeating allover stepped diamond pattern, framed by bright white which lightens the rug and really makes the colors pop.  The purple backdrop extends to the edges so there is no formal border.  A multicolored lattice of stylized vine motifs in all of the rug's colors adorns each side, with triangle motifs lining the fringed edges.  Subtle variations in the natural dyes create a softly striated texture that adds to the one of a kind handmade nature of the rug.  Flat weave and thin pile, the hallmark of kilim rugs, the rug is practically reversible. It is a fine quality and well-made kilim, sturdy and great for high traffic areas. It will last generations. Note the charming gray fringe on either end.
