The pile is so thick and dense, made with double knots so that it is known as an "iron rug" with a soft and very sturdy pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations. The ivory background is an elegant setting for the intricate and delicate patterns in shades of blue, green and rose: sapphire blue, cornflower blue, lavender, midnight blue, sage green, grass green, black cherry, plum, mauve, rosewood pink, peach, wine and countless other colors, all made from only vegetable and other natural dyes. The tiny flowers interconnect in a perfectly symmetrical allover pattern that is stunning to behold, with bouquets and sprays throughout.
