This brand new fine quality small runner was handmade in India. It has a full soft pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here a series of four medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in pale silver, sapphire blue, white, cranberry, khaki and sky blue.  The backdrop is cherry red with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors. The border is a white frame that lightens and brightens the rug, with a geometric ribbon of flower and leaf motifs in red, khaki and blue.  The binding is a playful and decorative element of the rug, with cherry red and white alternating rectangles against the final cherry red row of the border. All colors are made from only natural dyes.  This versatile size and cheerful color palette makes the rug perfect for entries and kitchens, bathrooms, mud rooms and kids' rooms, hallways, bedsides, etc.
