This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and quality wool.  The allover geometric design is a hallmark of contemporary Oushak rugs, derived from antique Turkish Oushak designs that date back to the Ottoman Empire.  The design is a series of connected geometric motifs that run down the center of the runner, resembling flowers and leaves. The backdrop is lime green and the accents are hand-knotted in sky blue, pomegranate red, mint green, pale yellow-green, shell pink and white. The border is seamless in lime green, framed by thin rows of yellow-green and pink.
