This is a spectacular brand new large tribal rug with an allover geometric design and stunning colors. This rug was hand-knotted in Afghanistan by expert weavers in a classic geometric flower and leaf allover design that is a hallmark of antique Persian Serapi and Heriz rugs.  The slightly muted strawberry backdrop is an elegant setting for the repeating intricate leaf and flower motifs in a perfectly symmetrical design.  The pattern is hand-knotted in beautiful muted colors that only come from natural dyes.  Sapphire blue, pale peach, silver, ivory, denim blue, lime green, teal, champagne, coral, heather gray and other shades create an elegant garden of leaves and flowers on the vine.  The complementary border is a harmonious frame in a stunning shade of sapphire blue with its own geometric lotus flower garland in all the colors of the rug, surrounded by thin rows of small colorful flowers on the vine.  The rug's colors and design are reminiscent of a phenomenal stained glass window.  Great for high traffic, this rug has a full, soft, sturdy pile that is soft underfoot and will last generations.
