This is a gorgeous rug! A colorful brand new fine quality rug that was handmade in India. It has a full soft and supple pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool with a vibrant color palette made from only natural dyes.  The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here a series of three "footed" medallions, also known as 'guls', run down the center of the rug, nested in alternating hexagonal footed medallions of pale peach and white.  The middle gul has a bright royal blue center with raspberry pink, crimson red, turquoise and pale khaki accents.  This rests between two crimson guls with royal blue, pale khaki and turquoise accents. They all sit within a crimson background, which really makes the colors pop. The spectacular border of footed diamonds frames the rug in turquoise, sage green, peach, coral, royal blue, khaki, crimson and white,   Small repeating geometric motifs in all of the colors adorn the border and the open field.  The frame is surrounded by a small greek key repeat in crimson against alternating colorful squares.
