This is a brand new fine quality rug handmade in India. It has a striking autumnal color palette made from only natural dyes and a very thick, full, soft pile that is cushy underfoot, great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.  The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here a series of three diamond medallions run down the center of the rug, hand-knotted in mint and cinnamon with pink coral, lime green, midnight blue,  and white.   The white backdrop is dotted with small, playful tribal star and diamond motifs that also adorn the central medallions. The border is a thick cinnamon frame with a repeating alternating geometric pattern that perfectly complements the rug in all of its colors. This is framed by a charming pink and green repeat that resembles chess pawns. The bindings are knotted in thick cinnamon and white alternating woven sections that add another decorative detail to the rug.
