This is a brand new fine quality handmade Afghan Kazakh runner.  The repeating diamond allover design is geometric and tribal with a modern flair.  The rug's royal blue and cherry red diamonds have intricate accents in surprising shades of white, lemonade pink, lavender, navy blue and mocha.  The rug has a playful feel, full of details that become more apparent as you get closer. Note in the close-up photos how the rug is three-dimensional, with many of the woven designs raised in thicker knots above the rug's flat-weave kilim. The border is a repeating X motif in the same colors of the rug, and the runner's ends have a decorative additional design feature of a wide flat-weave kilim of red, blue and white stripes with repeating tribal motifs on each side.  The natural gray/beige fringe is another rustic and lovely feature. All colors are made from only natural dyes.  The runner is made of 100% camel hair, which provides a sturdy, thin pile that is great for high traffic areas and will continue to last for generations.
