This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here a series of alternating medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in sky blue,  white, grass green, camel, sand, copper, teal green, peach, ocean blue and other shades made from only natural dyes.  The backdrop is a rich cherry red with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors.
