This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here, a series of seven alternating medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in white and copper, with charming flower and star motifs in stunning shades of Tiffany blue, turquoise, midnight blue, charcoal and crimson, all made from only natural dyes.  The backdrop is a vrich crimson red with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors.
