The tribal, geometric allover design is asymmetrical and rather unique.  This rug has a cheerful, modern appeal with its bright colors and its silver backdrop, which is actually black and white knots in such a tight pattern that they appear gray or silver from afar.  Cherry red, turquoise, teal, orange, tangerine, sky blue, grass green, teal and other shades combine in a repeating allover diamond pattern with 2 larger tribal medallions toward the center and a repeating wave pattern along the edges. Flat-weave and thin pile, the hallmark of kilim rugs, the rug is practically reversible. It is a fine quality and well-made kilim, sturdy and great for high traffic areas. It will last generations.
