This brand new rug with a traditional floral allover design was handmade in India by master weavers trained in Persian Nain rug design. It is hand-knotted of silk and fine wool with a high knot count (KPSI, knots per square inch) and superb craftsmanship, which makes for precise, crisp details. The rug has an exquisitely detailed perfectly symmetrical allover floral and vine pattern of sprays and bouquets, petals, leaves and vines.  The silk accents glisten in the light. The rug is a lush shade of deep ocean blue and the designs are hand-knotted in robin's egg blue, navy blue, copper, cream, gray-blue, silver, camel, pale peach, seafoam green, taupe, ivory, white, cranberry and countless other elegant neutral shades, all made from only natural dyes. The border is the perfect complement, a cream colored frame with a complementary floral and vine pattern in the same colors, surrounded by thin sand and blue rows of tiny garlands of small flowers on the vine.
