This contemporary tribal rug was handmade in India. It's a modern rug whose design is based on classic Persian Heriz rugs with geometric, nomadic designs and bold medallions.  This rug has a soft, thick pile that is great for high traffic areas and will last generations.  The intricacy of the patterns and the vivid array of colors make this rug quite special -- sky blue, hunter green, mauve, ivory, lime green, gold, heather gray, fruit punch and others harmonize beautifully. The corners are perfect echoes of the medallion and they draw the eye to the ivory border. The ivory further lightens and brightens the rug with a garland of geometric lotus  flowers (another Heriz motif) on the vine in the same wonderful colors of the rug.  All colors are made from only natural dyes.  Size: 5'1"x8'1"
