This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here a series of five medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in powder blue, golden yellow, peach, lime green, navy blue, pale gray and white.  The backdrop is bright red with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors.
