This brand new fine quality runner was handmade in India by expert weavers. It has a full soft and thick pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  A series of alternating medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in a variety of beautiful colors that become apparent as you approach the rug: ivory, cranberry, heather gray, lavender, ocean blue, khaki, silver and other shades made from only natural dyes.  Small playful tribal motifs in the open field echo the medallions in style and colors, from stars to flowers and other geometric shapes. The border is a rich cranberry red frame with a geometric repeating motif in many of the rug's colors.  The binding is a playful and decorative element of the rug, with ivory and cranberry red alternating rectangles against the final ivory row of the border.  This versatile size makes the rug perfect for entries and kitchens, bathrooms, mud rooms and kids' rooms, hallways, bedsides, etc. Size: 2'8"x8'1"
