This is a beautiful brand new fine quality runner handmade in India. It has a full soft and thick pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The geometric design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here a series of four medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in azure blue, gold, orange, grass green, white, pale mint green and pale pink.  The backdrop is cherry red with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors. The border is a white frame with a geometric ribbon in many of the rug's colors, framed by a thin row of orange with repeating small colorful tribal motifs.  The binding is a playful and decorative element of the rug, with azure blue and cherry red alternating rectangles against the final cherry red row of the border.
