This is a very fine quality accent rug that was hand-knotted in Pakistan by expert Baluchi tribal weavers using fine quality wool, a high knot count or KPSI (knots per square inch) for precise details. and only natural dyes. The colors really pop against the dark background.  This rug has intricate architectural motifs and can also be used as a tapestry/wall-hanging. The intricate geometric and tribal motifs that adorn the rug add beautiful details that will continue to emerge and delight as you get closer. The black backdrop is a dramatic canvas for all of the highly detailed decorative motifs in copper, emerald green, red, white, azure blue, plum and charcoal.  The architectural structures have colorful ornamentation and are surrounded and decorated with beautiful designs and tribal elements.  The border is a particularly decorative element of the rug with its repeating geometric motifs in all of the rug's vibrant colors.  This rug is made of fine, soft lambswool, which gives it a thin, soft pile that can withstand high traffic and will last generations.  Size: 3'3"x6'5"
