This brand new fine quality geometric runner was handmade in India. It has a full soft and thick pile that is great for high traffic and will last generations. This rug is made with fine craftsmanship and high quality wool.   The design is based on tribal Kazakh patterns that date back centuries.  Here, a series of five alternating medallions run down the center of the runner, hand-knotted in sky blue and mint green with  accents of copper, white, fern green, pale khaki, heather gray and cornflower blue, all made from only natural dyes.  The backdrop is crimson red with small playful tribal motifs in the open field that echo the medallions in style and colors. The border is an ivory frame that lightens and brightens the rug, picking up on all of the white accents throughout.  A geometric repeat fills the border with complementary color and pattern.  The binding is a playful and decorative element of the rug, with cornflower blue and crimson alternating rectangles against the final red row of the rug.  This versatile size and cheerful color palette makes the rug perfect for entries and kitchens, mud rooms and kids' rooms, hallways, bedsides, etc.
