This is a stunning and unique antique Persian Kashan, more than 50 years old and in truly mint condition.  The rare open field in glorious red is hand-knotted with the Koranic design in the central medallion, intricately woven in countless vivid colors, all made from vegetable and other natural dyes. This rug is made from Manchester wool or 'kork', made from the finest parts of the lamb. It has a soft full and even pile that will last generations.  Size: 10'x13'
