This beautiful brand new contemporary tribal area rug was hand-knotted in Afghanistan.  The rug is woven in a transitional design -- taking the inspiration from traditional oriental rug designs and updating them with modern colors and cleaner lines.  This is a fine quality rug with high caliber wool and superior craftsmanship.  The beautiful colors are made from only vegetable and other natural dyes.  A warm ecru backdrop with a pale yellow undertone creates the canvas for the intricate repeating allover floral and vine design in sangria, pomegranate, charcoal and emerald green with pops of royal blue.   The border is a series of garlands of flowers on the vine in the same colors of the rug, alternating on backdrop sof pomegranate and ecru.  This rug is perfect for high traffic  and the versatile pattern is great for a living room, study, den, playroom, bedroom, dining room.
