This Baluch rug, hand-knotted in Northwest Afghanistan by Baluchi weavers, is known as a Royal Baluch because it was designed as a prayer rug with its mosque-like image. The tribal and geometric pattern is a hallmark of Afghan rugs from this region. The white tower with tangerine and red turrets represents the mosque, adorned with a camouflage swirling design in charcoal, surrounded by intricate details in the border in red, burgundy and caramel. This stunning piece can be used as a prayer rug or a tapestry or as an accent rug for your entryway, hallway, bedside, office, etc. All of the colors are made with only natural and vegetable dyes. This rug is made of 100% camel hair, which gives it a full pile that can withstand high traffic areas. Size: 3'x4'6"
