This vintage handmade Afghan Kazakh Kilim accent rug is in mint condition.  The tribal, geometric allover diamond design is a hallmark of Kilim rugs.  The brilliant colors are made from vegetable and other natural dyes, creating rich shades of red and blue in a repeating diamond design with a larger doubble diamond medallion.  The border begins with a bright white belt with burgundy and midnight blue, leading to two midnight blue rows with wave-like motifs.  Flat weave and thin pile, also typical of Kilims, this rug is still great for high traffic areas and will last generations.
